Hot and juicy right out of the fire!
Take your burger meat of choice (turkey or beef).
Add whatever you want in it (green peppers, onion soup mix, onion).
Form the meat into a patty.
Place a slice of onion on top and fold it up in heavy foil twice.
I cook each side about 5 min (less or more, your choice) and flip it over and cook five more minutes, till cooked through.
Add cheese afterwards if you want and cook till it melts.
This is so darn good!
Have a great time - just watch the little ones by the fire as they will want to cook their own as well.
I also make my meat loaves this way too, and baked potatoes.
Mmmmm good!
Food is always so darn good while camping.

Thank you, Baggy6!
I love anything cooked over a campfire, too. Baked potatoes are my particular favorite.
Tinfoil dinners with chicken and veggies are good, too.
Roasted marshmallows are delicious - especially when they are used for making Smores.
Have you tried Banana Boats? They are quick, easy, delicious - and even somewhat healthy!
Really, it's hard to go wrong when you cook outdoors!
Happy camping!
